The Chasing Bubbles Foundation (CBF) is a 501c3 nonprofit foundation inspired by the life and adventures of the late Alexander Daniel Rust. Read more about Our Inspiration from Captain Alex Rust and HIS dream to sail around the world.

Dreams can exist safely in our thoughts, but it takes true courage to chase those dreams into the unknown. We want to connect with those who dare take their dreams a step further.
Adventure
Adventure is at the core of all that we do, from fundraising through Adventurous Programs to searching for new projects both near and far. You don't have to sail around the world to have an adventure!
Humanity
Everyone deserves the chance to chase their dreams, regardless of age, race, gender, location, culture, religion, or current life circumstances. Indeed, we are all in this together!
Shepherding
It takes more than just monetary support to empower kids to chase their dreams. The Chasing Bubbles Foundation strives to provide guidance in more than one aspect of life and always leads by example.

The Board
The CBF board consist of friends and family of Alex Rust, from a variety of backgrounds, who have all been inspired to donate our time and resources to continue the cycle of inspiration.

How Do We accomplish THE mission Together?
Accomplishing the mission of 'empowering kids around the world to chase their dreams' is not a one-step process. The Chasing Bubbles Foundation relies on a cycle of inspiration to connect those who dare to challenge the status quo with dreamers around the world in need of support via fundraising and carefully selecting projects.
Adventurous Programs are among one form of FUNdraising used to inspire and grow our community and network of resources. Then, CBF focuses this energy and support on specific projects that represent foundation values. This includes projects we are already focused on, like funding a child's education or providing shoes for schools, and projects we aspire to, like publishing a book for a homeless person or housing families in need.
The joy of empowering others to chase their dreams creates more dreamers and continues the cycle of inspiration. If you're inspired to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
