First Annual “Chasing” Bubbles Regatta

Join us to celebrate the resurrection of Bubbles!

The first annual “Chasing” Bubbles Regatta is setting sail in the beautiful British Virgin Islands Tuesday, April 30 to Friday, May 3. Hosted in partnership with the Young Cruiser’s Association (YCA), the goal of the regatta is to celebrate the refit of Alex Rust’s beloved Fast Passage 39, Bubbles, and to bring attention to the work of the Chasing Bubbles Foundation.

Each day, Bubbles and her crew will take off into the horizon for an unknown destination. The boat will be tracked and recorded on the Sea People app for all to monitor. While sailing, race participants will be able to see the headings and speed over ground of everyone underway as they trim sails to catch up with Bubbles and get to the finish the fastest. The first boat to reach Bubbles wins! There will be prizes and the opportunity to get your name etched into the Bubbles Regatta Trophy that will live aboard Bubbles on her journey.
