A Mission to Inspire
What made Alex’s journey so unique was his love for people—especially children. Everywhere he went, Alex took time to meet the locals, give presents, and share his love of sailing with kids. He believed in making the world a little brighter, one child at a time. This book celebrates that legacy, and the proceeds will go toward continuing his mission through the Chasing Bubbles Foundation’s youth sailing programs, which empower kids to chase their dreams both on and off the water.
The Legacy Lives On
Alex’s story didn’t end when his journey did. After his return, Alex found a new purpose in life when he traveled to India to support rural orphanages. Tragically, in May 2013, Alex’s life was cut short while working on this new mission. However, his spirit continues to inspire the work of the Chasing Bubbles Foundation, and through the sale of "Bubbles Goes ‘Round", we hope to keep his dream alive for generations to come.
